Who hasn't wanted to quit there 9-5 and open there own brewery. How about open a brewery in a place as iconic as As
pen? That is what co-founders and former CU-Buffaloes roommates Duncan and Brad did in 2008. From the party days of college killin Keylights and Natty Ice, these two guys refined there palates by frequenting the likes of twisted pine, and boulder beer company. They put there creativity to use in there own kitchen coming up with many different varieties and flavors of beer.

When they weren't brewing, they were spending time in Colorado's great outdoors. Riding the powder stashes of Aspens four mountains, and fishing there rivers both Brad and Duncan fell in love with the place. Why not open a brewery there?

Aspen had already proved it self a good market by hosting flying dog brewery for three years before it moved to Denver to a larger location. Opening in March of 2008 Aspen has been churning out beers ever since. While this brewery may not be as well known as the odell's and the new belgium breweries they are on there way to making a great name for themselves.
Must have Beers!
Independence Pass Ale

I love a good I.PA. and the Independence Pass Ale is a great beer to have while you are eating your hot wings. Especially after a long day of riding at buttermilk. The Independence Pass Ale is brewed with the relatively new pallisade hops. This is not for the beginner drinker, only expert drinkers need apply!

Aspen Brewery

I think we all know that Colorado has its long winter months that keep us bundled up and in the house more than we want to me. The brown bearale makes sitting around the house a lot more, well, bear able. The smooth flavoring and rich caramel malts will have you coming back for more.
